-Sunday Morning Life Groups-
Every Sunday morning at 9:15am, we meet to worship, fellowship, and pray together. This time can be called Sunday School or Life Groups; however, it's really just another time to fellowship and open God's word. We love to see visitors and hope that you will come join us. We meet upstairs in the building that contains our gym. If you're unfamiliar with the campus, it's the furthest building from HWY 401.
-Life University-
Although there are no transcripts or accreditation standards, Life University is still a good place to learn. Each Sunday night at 6:00pm, Midway holds about a dozen classes to help the church body grow in their knowledge of Christ through various topical studies. An outline of these classes including their descriptions can be found on MBC's Website. It's not too late to start going to a class. Midway encourages registration; however walk-ins are welcome. Life University breaks in the Summer. Consult the Calendar Page for spring and fall semester dates.
-Thursday Night Bible Study-
Thursday night Bible Study is a synthesis of students, working singles, and other Christians whose desire is to know and understand who God is. This is a casual event where people with very different lives unite together to talk about the Scriptures. We meet at a couple different homes and occasionally at Bushiban Coffee in Garner. Check the Calendar for specific locations or email us for direction and other information.
“Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let the one who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me.”
-Jeremiah 9:23
-Small Groups-
Currently we have 4 small groups that meet at various times throughout the week. These groups consist of anywhere from 4 - 10 people. Some groups are coed and others are gender specific. Small groups aren't just another Bible Study. They exist primarily to encourage personal study of the scriptures through small group accountability. Each week a different text is given along with study questions. When the group comes together, it addresses these question and encourages it's members to faithfully study God's word. Once a groups is formed, members are not added until that particular study has finished. This allows for consistency and helps form closer relationships. If you're interested in joining a small group, please email us at MBCCollegeandCareer@gmail.com.
